Celebration June 26 at Algerian flag earthwork installation

LAWRENCE, KANSAS — The community is invited to show their support for Team Algeria during a celebratory gathering from 5-7 p.m. June 26 around an Algerian flag earthwork created by local artist Stan Herd. It is located east of the Lied Center of Kansas, 1600 Stewart Drive. A drone photo will be taken at approximately 5:45 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to wear green, white or red and show their support for Team Algeria before their final group stage match against Austria on June 27.
